EverQuest's 10th Anniversary is coming up on March 16th, 2009. If you've thought time and time again about coming back to Norrath or experiencing it for the first time, this is the way and now is the time. The latest expansion, Seeds of Destruction, came after Secrets of Faydwer. However, due to what SoD has brought to the table, there is really no reason to be concerned, as those without high level characters will be unable to enjoy the SoD content for quite some time. Another reason to purchase SoF, is the decision SoE has made to no longer offer expansions via retail. SoF is the last EverQuest expansion you will see in retail box form. Unless SoE has a change of heart, all following expansions will be digital downloads. Weigh your options. Spend $9.99 on Secrets of Faydwer, receive a physical retail box (again, the last), including your free month and all expansions except the most recent Seeds of Destruction, which you will not be participating in anytime soon. If missing the latest expansion concerns you, feel free to pay $39.99 for Seeds of Destruction, which includes your digital download, free month and that extra expansion that is good for...peace of mind?

This is one of the best values of any MMORPG available even to date. In March 2009, Sony intends on launching a brand new server and there is no better way to get started if you're new to the game than the Secrets of Faywder expansion!
Includes EverQuest and 14 expansions along with an in-game mount for each account. Cheaper to buy a copy of SoF than reactive an account and pay the first month!
Great game, but don't waste your money on this package January 25, 2009

EverQuest is the oldest of the 3D MMOs, and while it's the largest it has shown it's age for some time now. That does not, however, detract from the game. It's still a great game, and with the latest expansion easier than ever to get started in.
That said, do not buy this package on Amazon-- it does NOT include the latest expansion, which you will have to pay another $40 for once you create your account, which includes everything this one does. You will have thrown away $10 for nothing.

This is not the latest Everquest Classic all in one pack anymore. Dont waste your money on it or you will end up spending another 40 dollars on the next expansion that contains this game and all the other past expansions.
